Summary or Abstract : An active research topic in the area of traslation concerns the limits of translate ability of culture words. It is argued, Catford And Newmark that culture words are the words which contain both dentative and connotative meanings. They are assumed to be deeply rooted in the culture of their users. Linguists, such as Nida, Newmark and Catford, hold that cultural words cannot be easily translated from SL into TL. Religious words are believed to be among the highest culturally loaded words. This brings forth a difficult situation: They are the most needed words, and, at the same time, the most difficult ones to be translated. Concerning the holy koran, some muslim scholars believe that, as it is the word of Allah, it cannot be traslated. However, there are others who, mentioning the need for the translation of the Holy book, argue that there are ways of translating the sacred book, for instance, Manafi in his article " Translating the word of Allah "..
