Summary or Abstract : During the recent decades, a great majority of the studies conducted on the subject of language comprehension have been concentrated on " reading " as an important component of learning a second(or foreign) language.On the basis of the foreign study, the researcher was further led to question the emphasis laid on the " reading ability " of Iranian EFL students as the cost of neglecting their improvement in " listening comprehension " - a crusial skill which should be taught, practiced, and developed by itself. In fact, this study was centered around the the following research question / null hypotheses: 1. Is there any significant difference, and / or correlation between listening and readig comprehension of iranian EFL students? 2. There is ni significant difference, and / or correlation between listening and reading comprehension of Iranian EFL students..
