Summary or Abstract : The main purpose of this study is to describe the participles in English and Persian to formulate the conlicting points on order to predict problems of Farsi speaking students learning English as foreign. This attain this goal first participles in English and persian are described fully and then compared to predict difficulties confronting Farsi apeaking students learning English as a foreign language. The information provided by this reaearch will teacher where to expect an unusal degree of learning difficulty and the study will help the course designer to develop a more detailed syllabus for EFL language course. The finding of this research show that difficulties of Iranian students learning English as a foreign language are connected with interlingual aspect of the categories concerned..
