Summary or Abstract : This research was an attempt to find out whether in a writing classroom, in an EFL situation, product - priented approach was better to be utilized, or a process - oriented one, or a mixture of the two. For statistical purposes, the following null - hypotheses were formulated: 1. There is no significant difference between the writing ability development of those EFL students who are taught in the product - oriented classroom and that of those taught in the process - oriented classroom. 2. There is no significant difference between the writing ability development of those EFL students who are taught in the hybrid approach classroom and that of taught in the process oriented classroom. 3. There is no significant difference between the writing ability development of those EFL students who are taught in the hybrid approach classroom and that of those taught in the product - oriented classroom. In addition, the research tried for the to provide convincing answers for the following questions: 1. Do the approaches influence the of the students' writing differently? 2.DO the approaches influence the fluency of the students' writing differently? 3.Do the approaches influence the accuracy of the students' writing differently?.
