.از آنجائیکه خواندن نقش زیادی در حوزه‌های دانشگاهی دارد. این تحقیق بر آن بوده است که خواندن متون انگلیسی را با تهیه پیش پردازنده‌های نوشتاری برای دانشجویان زبان بیگانه آسانتر نماید. پرسش مطرح شده در این تحقیق این است که آیا بکارگیری این نوع پیش پردازنده‌ها تاثیری بر درک مطلب دانشجویان زبان بیگانه دارد یا خیر. در این تحقیق محقق بر این عقیده بوده است که این نوع پیش پردازنده‌ها می توانند با فراخوانی دانسته‌های پیشین دانشجویان به درک متون کمک کنند. یافته‌های این تحقیق دال بر این می باشد که تفاوت مشاهده شده تصادفی نبوده و ناشی از استفاده این پیش پردازنده‌ها می باشد

As the current theories of foreign language learning attest the reading comprehension plays an importat role in the process of language learning. Reading comprehension has been the most important skill in academic situations where students are making extensive use of materials Written in English. This study was set out to find out whether the introduction of Graphic Organizer has any effect on the comprehension o reading passages. Accordingly, the following null hypothesis was developed. There is no significant difference between reading comprehension of those EFL intermediate - proficiency readers who are exposed to the Advance, Graphic, Organizers and that of readers who are denied the Organizers. Findings indicated that Graphic Organizers significantly improved comprehension of reading passages..
