Summary or Abstract : .هدف تحقیق: بررسی فرسایش واژگان: مقایسه دانشجویان سیستم آموزش متداول با دانشجویان سیستم آموزش از راه دواست. پرسش های تحقیق: در مقایسه با دانشجویانی که در سیستم آموزش متدوال تحصیل می کنند آیا دانشجویان شستم آموش از راه دور به طور قابل ملاحظه دجار فرسایش واژگان بیشتری پس از سه ماه عدم استفاده می شوند؟ آیا فرسایش واژگان هر دو گروه پس از سه ماه عدم استفاده به میزان قابل ت.جهی بالاست؟ یافته های تحقیق: تفاوت قابل توجهی میان دانشجویان سیستم آموزش از راه دور و سیستم آموزش متداول مشاهد شده. دانشجویان سیستم آموزش متداول بطور قابل ملاحظه عملکرد بهتری نسبت به دانشجویان سیستم آموزش از راه دور در زمینه فرسایش واژگان داشتند
: This study compared the amount of lexical attrition between two groups of English translation sophomore students. It also examined if there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest's results of each group. One group studied at Conventional Education University (CEU); the other group studied at Distance Education University (DEU). Both groups studied reading comprehension (3) during the term. For measuring the amount of lexical attrition of the two groups after three months of summer, a reading comprehension test of ARCO TOEFL TESTS was selected. It was administered in both universities in Khordad. The mean of scores in each group was calculated and the students who got one standard deviation above and below the mean in each group were selected as posttest participants. The same reading comprehension test was administered in posttest in Mehr (CEU) and Aban (DEU). The scores were calculated. A repeated measure of ANOVA was run to compare the mean scores of DEU and CEU on the pretest and posttest of reading comprehension to probe the degree of lexical attrition by the two groups. The results indicated that CEU significantly outperformed DEU. Also, it was concluded that the two groups performed better on the posttest. Furthermore, there was not any meaningful interaction between the performance of the two groups on the pretest and posttest..
