: This research was aimed at investigating whether there was any significant relationship between translation trainees' multiple intelligences level and the quality of translation they produce. The aim of this research was two-fold: (1) to investigate if there is any significant relationship between translation trainees' multiple intelligences level and the quality of translation they produce, and (2) to examine if having high linguistic intelligence meant having better translation quality. To investigate the research questions, the sample of the study consisted 305 senior students of English translation; both male and female. The participants were given three tests: a test of IELTS, a test of translation production, and a test of multiple intelligences, i.e. Gardner's Test of Multiple Intelligences. Upon scoring of the tests and evaluating the translations, the research questions were attempted. The participants' translations were assessed based on a TQA model developed by integrating the model proposed by Farahzad (1992) and that of Waddington (2001). The participants' translations and the three assessments made by three raters are available on a CD enclosed with this dissertation..
