Summary or Abstract : هدف تحقیق: مطالعه تطبیقی تاثیر فلوچارت و رفتار ترسیم مفهومی بر روی درک مطلب دانش آموزان است. پرسش های تحقیق: آیا رفتار فلوچارت در تسهیل درک مطلب دانش جویان مدیریت و علوم موثر است؟ آیا رفتار ترسیم مفهومی در تسهیل درک مطلب دانش جویان مدیریت و علوم موثر است؟ آیا هر دو رفتار تاثیر یکسانی بر درک مطلب دانش جویان مدیریت و علوم دارند؟ یافته های تحقیق: درستنی سوالات مطرح شد اثبات و تاثیر مثبت رفتار فلوچارت و رفتار ترسیم مفهومی بر افزایش درک مطلب آشکار شد و همچنین اثبات شد که رفتار ترسیم مفهومی از رفتار فلوچارت در بهبود درک مطلب دانشجویان بهتر است. همچنین اثبات شد که نظام آموزشی فعلی با این روشهای نوین ناشناست و معلمان در اجرای این تکنیک ها تلاش مظاعفی داشته باشند
: Students often encounter difficulty when attempting to learn from an entire chapter of text that contains numerous new concepts and relations among those concepts. Educators have long been interested in easing this burden for students. Using graphic organizers in general and concept mapping and flowcharting techniques in particular have received considerable attention in this new century. A number of studies have focused on the effects of manipulating conjunctions in texts on reading comprehension (Irwin, 1980; Marshal, 1976; Marshal& Glock, 1976). It is assumed that formal, rhetorical schemata affects reading in English as a second language. Moreover, the research in L2 reading has shown that teaching graphical tools for organizing and representing knowledge can facilitate reading comprehension. This study reports the results of an experiment investigating the simultaneous effects of concept mapping and flowcharting treatments on facilitating reading comprehension as well as comparison between them. In the study 90 college students of Meshginshahr's Azad University who were selected according to their scores on a proficiency test and randomly assigned to two experimental groups and one control group, read and answered comprehension questions about the reading comprehension part of Nelson Denny Proficiency Test after treatment. Results of the groups in pre and posttest showed that the experimental groups outperformed the control group, and the results of two experimental groups showed that concept mapping strategy affected reading comprehension to a greater extent than flowcharting strategy. Specific results are presented and discussed, as are limitations of the study and teaching implications..
