.نتایج این تحقیق نشان داد که خودکارآمدی و عزت نفسبا کیفیتترجمه شفاهی رابطه مستقیم دارند .به عبارتدیگر هرچه خودکارآمدی و عزت نفسمترجم شفاهی بیشتر باشد کیفیتترجمه او بهتر است .البته رابطه خودکارآمدی باکیفیت ترجمه شفاهی قوی تر از رابطه عزت نفسبا کیفیت ترجمه شفاهی بود

Self-efficacy, and self-esteem are considered as important factors in learning. This research aimed to investigate the relation between self-efficacy and self-esteem on Interpreting quality. To this end, 40 senior students/graduates of translator training program who had passed at least 2 academic courses in interpreting were chosen. Then, an English proficiency test was administered to homogenize the group. Finally 32 subjects were selected for this study. A self-esteem of the research participants. Subsequently, the interpretation quality of participants was assessed through a test of consecutive interpreting. Raw data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and final results of the research indicated that there is a high correlation between self-esteem inventory was used to assess the self-efficacy inventory was developed and submitted to the research group and Nugent s self- efficacy and interpretation quality (r=0.77), and there is moderate correlation between self-esteem and interpretation quality (r=0.56). Students with higher self-esteem can interpret better. Findings of this paper suggest that self-efficacy and self-esteem can be considered as effective factors in designing interpreter training programs, evaluating interpreters, and selecting the most appropriate people for the act of interpreting..
