با توجه به فراوانی آرایه ایهام نزد حافظ که عامل مهم و تاثیر گذاری در رمزآل‌ود ساختن سخن وی است چگونگی عملکرد فوشکور در برگرداندن پنجاه بیت چند معنایی به زبان فرانسه مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. پرسشهای تحقیق: فوشکور در ترجمه واژه های چند معنا چه روشی را اتخاذ کرده است؟ آیا ارائه توضیحات در کنار ترجمه توانسته راهگشا باشد؟ یافته های تحقیق: تقریبا در چهل درصد از موارد ایهام در شعر حافظ که مورد بررسی قرار گرفته ایهام ازدید مترجم پنهان مانده است
