.انسان از آغاز پیدایش جوامع انسانی، در جستجوی غریزی به دنبال تأمین نیازهای جسمی، اقتصادی، اجتماعی وسیاسی بوده است .باتوجه به همین نیاز بوده که شرکتهای بیمه با ارائه طرحهای متفاوت و ابتکاری متناسب با نیازهای جوامع انسانی درپی تأمین و تسهیل این غریزه ثبات مالی و اقتصادی برآمدند تا در زمان بروز حادثه ناگوار، شیرازه اقتصاد خانواده ها از هم نپاشد و افراد وابسته به شخص متوفی و یا حادثه دیده بتوانند از مزایای این تأمین اقتصادی بهره‌مند شوند . به طور کلی سطح درآمد افراد اثر قابل ملاحظه ای روی تقاضای بیمه حوادث دارد، از آنجایی که تئوری تقاضا برای بیمه بخوبی ثابت شده است، ولی تحقیقات اخیر شامل برآورد کشش درآمدی تقاضا برای بیمه حوادث نیستند .بنابراین هدف از این تحقیق بررسی مهمترین عوامل تاثیر گذار بر تقاضای بیمه حوادث و پیدا کردن کشش های مربوط به آنهاست

In this research, we investigate the number of factors influencing on demand for casualty insurance in Iran. This study examines determinants of demand for casualty insurance by using data from all provinces of Iran from Iran insurance company for the period 1383 through 1388. Although demand theory for insurance is well established, and considerable research has been published on the determination of the optimal insurance coverage and insurance demand for both life and property and liability insurance, we could not find outstanding studies on the determinants of the demand for casualty insurance in Iran in particular.
