Summary or Abstract : The purpose of the study was to examine randomly selected Oregon School Districts for readiness on National Standard readiness indicators for comprehensive guidance and counseling programs. Readiness indicators accessed through survey were community support, district leadership, guidance curriculum, staffing and time use, school counselor's beliefs and attitudes about their role and duties within the school, school counselor's skills, and district support and resources allocated to guidance and counseling program..
