Summary or Abstract

The Put Prevention into Practice (PPIP) campaign was designed to improve the delivery of preventive services by primary care providers. Several clinics were funded by the Texas Department of Health to implement PPIP. Evaluations were conducted over a three-year period for five clinics. Qualitative process data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document review. Cross-site comparisons resulted in a case study for each clinic. Quantitative data were collected through chart audits at three time periods: baseline, 2 years, and 3 years..
