Summary or Abstract : What we communicate in families today directly influences the multi-generational cycle of family traits, beliefs and actions--for better or for worse. A healthy family heritage, enacted through family rituals, can instill in children a proper sense of God, themselves and others. Such a heritage can equip them to weather life's ups and downs and to make wise choices, resulting in a life pleasing to God, themselves and their families. However, many parents today are not sure how to communicate a godly family heritage, or do not have an intentional plan for doing so. Therefore, this project seeks to create an evangelical adult Sunday school curriculum to help parents move from passive to proactive in building family rituals and communicating a strong heritage to their children..
