Board of Education (Brown) decision on desegregation in America's schools was realized by some 2300 individuals who attended the 2004 Brown v. Board of Education National Conference at Hood College, Frederick, MD. The design, creation, and implementation of this Conference assured that participants were exposed to such nationally recognized speakers as Julian Bond, Cheryl Brown Henderson, Dr. Dorothy Height, and Dr. Peter Irons.
