Summary or Abstract : An investigation was conducted to determine the impact of looping, sometimes called multi-year grouping, in elementary schools. Information was gathered as to the positive and negative effects of looping in schools nationally and internationally. The research study focused on teachers in the Fresno Unified School District, Fresno, California. A group of teachers who had participated in looping classrooms completed a survey and were asked a series of questions about their experiences. Positive responses were given about the looping classrooms and the teachers' experiences. The results suggest that more schools implement a looping framework..
