Summary or Abstract : Purpose of the Study. The purpose of this study was to determine whether multicultural instruction could positively modify the knowledge of junior college students with respect to people perceived as being disadvantaged by race, color, or ethnic background. The study focused on how much students knew about three racial groups (Black, Native and Mexican Americans). The hypothesis was: There will be no significant differences in the knowledge level of those participants who receive multicultural instruction and those participants who did not receive the instruction..
