Summary or Abstract : This study explored the perceptions of team teaching as expressed by sixth-grade students on Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Three elementary students with learning disabilities provided responses to interview questions regarding team teaching, resource room instruction, and the traditional classroom. Also examined was how the perceptions of students on IEPs compared to the perceptions of regular education students regarding team teaching. Three regular education students involved in the setting of team teaching were interviewed to determine their perceptions of team teaching. The results of the study indicate that students were satisfied with all methods of instruction explored, but they expressed preferences for team teaching. The results of this study support a continuum of services for special education students, and one of the options to consider is team teaching..
