This research study examines the influence of a one year graduate level teacher education program on the educational philosophies of elementary and secondary preservice teachers. This study is unique because the preservice teachers were provided with a uniform framework and language with which to talk about how the program influenced their beliefs. It is also important because it is one of the few studies that collects data on preservice teachers from the beginning to the end of their programs..
