Summary or Abstract
|

All Arabian Gulf countries have considered using educational software programs to improve the quality of the teaching and the learning process. The dilemma they face is that most of the software generally available to schools in that region is imported from England or the United States, and is designed to cater to the styles and cultural experiences of Western people. Given the differences between the two cultures and how these differences may affect the transfer of learning, there is an urgent need to examine the extent to which these programs are adaptable to the more traditional Arabic student..
