Summary or Abstract : With a growing number of online courses and entire degrees offered through the Internet, there is a significant interest in education online, particularly as it relates to instruction. This case study is exploratory qualitative research asking the question, "What are students' perceptions of online learning as a delivery system for a work-related continuing education course?"A review of research literature provided a perspective on educational change and technology innovation. This review was followed by a discussion of literature focusing on teaching and learning and technology in career and technical education. A final section reviewed literature related to research on distance learning and online instruction..
