Summary or Abstract : This study examined psychometrically-identified schizotypes and their family members for the presence of schizophrenia spectrum disorders and features. In order to assess Meehl's (1962) original theorizing that distinct features characterize schizotypes, this study used a cross-sectional design and administered three psychometric measures of schizotypy (i.e., the Chapmans' Revised Social Anhedonia Scale, the Perceptual Aberration Scale, and the Magical Ideation Scale) to proband participants. Prior studies of social anhedonia, have typically not included pure social anhedonics, nor have they looked at the combined effects of these psychometric measures..
