Summary or Abstract : This study explored the relationship between religiosity and marital satisfaction among Muslims. Additionally, the difference between males and females in their marital satisfaction and religiosity, and the personal characteristics that are associated with religiosity and marital satisfaction were studied. In the sample of 30 Muslims, with one spouse from each couple participating, this study revealed that there was not a significant relationship between religiosity and marital satisfaction. Among the variables of gender, sect of Islam, country of birth, ethnicity, years married, and years of being a Muslim, no significant relationships were found in relation to religiosity or marital satisfaction. The only significant relationship was found between age and marital satisfaction; in that the younger the individual, the higher marital satisfaction level.
