Summary or Abstract : The purpose of this study was to assist parents in understanding the principles of Adlerian Psychology and their application during adolescence by writing a book. The need for this study became apparent while leading discussion groups for parents of children. They began asking questions about applying these principles to adolescent behavior. This researcher was unable to find one printed source that answered most of their questions. These questions have been gathered over a period of 17 years and were used to develop an outline that directed the research for and the writing of the book based upon the application of Adlerian principles to adolescents. The tentative title of the book is Parenting Between 12 and 20..
