Summary or Abstract : Stability of the family environment is widely acknowledged as important to children's adjustment. The present research was conducted to gather evidence for a more specific and multi-faceted model of family stability, including family life changes (e.g., changes in residence or parental employment) and molecular patterns of family activities and routines. In a sample of 84 families with school-aged children, the present investigation first analyzed the relationships among these aspects of family stability. In general, findings suggest that family life changes are associated with molecular family stability..
