Summary or Abstract : This study explores perceptions of spiritually-infused dialogue occurring within active counseling supervision processes as measured by the Spiritual Issues in Supervision Scale (SISS). Results validate the use of the SISS as a reliable measure (Cronbach's alpha = .96) for the entire sample (N = 108) and for counseling supervisors (Cronbach's alpha = .93) and supervisees (Cronbach's alpha = .97) respectively. No significant differences in SISS scores were discovered when comparing supervisor and supervisee group perceptions or when evaluating SISS scores within specific supervisory dyads. Post hoc analyses were conducted due to the disproportionately religious sample used in this study. Significant differences were discovered when comparing perceptions of spirituality across the same supervisory sessions within Protestant and non-Protestant dyads..
