Summary or Abstract : This research is about "Development of Praise Education Training Program." The researcher began this research because she considered that the praise education in the church has not being conducted properly. The most important reason why praise education is not conducted well in the church is the ministers' lack of praise education. Ministers lack proper understanding about praise because they did not have enough opportunities to receive praise education officially in their ministerial training. As a solution for this problem, therefore, the researcher conducted 30 hours of praise education in 10 sessions to 48 ministers of Yoido Full Gospel Church. In chapter 1, the researcher presented the problems as follows: First is the problem of selecting appropriate praise for worship service. Second is the problem of neglecting interval, beat and speed in singing. Third is the problem of singing without understanding the meaning of lyrics properly. Fourth is the problem of church leaders' lack of understandings about praise education. Fifth is the problem of church leaders' lack of education in praise. In order to study the effectiveness of the praise education, the researcher conducted the research as follows: In chapter 2, biblical, historical and theological backgrounds were examined on praise education. In chapter 3, similar projects were reviewed and theoretical backgrounds and actual examples of praise education were studied. In chapter 4, concrete methodologies in implementation were presented. In order to find the effectiveness of praise education training, the researcher built five hypotheses. As a result, the 5 hypotheses were supported. First, the participants' awareness of praise education would be changed. In this hypothesis, participants were expected to sing praise while hoping for healing and answer to their prayer. This hypothesis showed the least change. The reason is because of the characteristic of Pentecostal Church that emphasizes healing. Second, participants would select praise while considering the meaning of worship and the content of sermon. In this hypothesis, approximately 50 of improvement appeared after the training. Third, participants would keep interval and beat while singing praise. In this hypothesis, most of the participants lack musical theories and practices. After receiving the education training that the researcher prepared, however, they responded that they would invest time in praise education.Fourth, participants would sing after giving general interpretation and explanation about selected praise. This hypothesis showed the most change. Before starting the program, most participants were satisfied with singing praise simply. After completing the training, however, they gained the knowledge of interpreting and explaining songs. Fifth, praise education would be vitalized for the participants. Before praise education training, participants had given up or ignored praise education. After completing the training, however, they gained the awareness that praise education should be vitalized. Therefore, the research obtained positive results in its overall effect..
